Birthday Girl

I really can't believe its been a year. She has changed so much this last month, really developing that personality now! We love her so much.
The party was so fun. GG got a big smile when I brought the tutu out again. She likes playing with all the fluff. She just adores Elmo, so when she saw the family room for the first time, her eyes got so big and she kept saying "Mo-Mo".


The best part was probably the awesome pinata that Nichole and Alex, her godparents, brought back from Mexico a few weeks ago. She was much like Jack, not too crazy about the cake, so I wasn't able to get the awesome face-covered-in-cake pictures that I had hoped for, oh, well.



Thank yous to all our friends and family that were able to join us.

And All of a Sudden....

She's crawling, taking the stairs, standing up, playing with new toys, talking.... (sigh) slow down, missy!
Today, she saw her pinata and totally forgot how to do the "army crawl" that she's been doing for months, then she promptly went to the stairs and tried those, making it all the way up with mommy standing by. Then, she suddenly was able to put the balls in this toy she's been working on for a while.


I knew it! I told Pepe as soon as she starts crawling, its over, we will not be able to slow that girl down ever again. Not "Miss determined"! (I don't know where she gets that!)

A Year Can be So Short

It's only this short when you are a parent, especially the second time around. I'm so scared to blink, I know I'll open my eyes and there she'll be, right in front of me with her hand out asking for the keys to the car. UGH, I just want to squeeze those cheeks and bottle up the memories, I just love her so much!
